CESA™ light 7301

CESA™ light 7301 by Avient is hindered amine-based UV light stabilizer masterbatch containing effective substance in PS carrier. It absorbs harmful UV radiation, dissipating it as harmless thermal energy. It also acts as radical interceptor, effectively inhibiting polymer degradation. Significant stabilization levels can be achieved at relatively low concentrations, regardless of wall thickness. It is believed that it converts nitro-oxyl free-radicals under photo-oxidative conditions and may also cause the deactivation of carbonyl groups. CESA™ light 7301 is highly recommendeed for injection extrusion in polystyrene. It is used in food-, drug- and personal care product packaging, agricultural films, construction materials, lawn and garden equipment. The dosage level of the grade is 1.5-3.0 %.
