Hostastat® FA 14

Hostastat® FA 14 by Clariant is an ethoxylated alkyl amine which acts as an internal antistatic agent for polyolefins and styrenics. It is based on renewable fatty acids with rather balanced application properties. It is added to equalize and reduce static charges on polymers surface preventing undesired or hazardous effects caused by dust attraction, spark discharge, ink misting. In combination with Hostastat® FE 1, it shows a well-balanced performance in terms of time to get the antistatic effect and durability of the effect. For immediate antistatic effects, it can be combined with Hostastat® FE 2. Hostastat® FA 14 has a shelf life of 2 years.
