Hostastat® FA 24

Hostastat® FA 24 by Clariant is an ethoxylated alkyl amine. Acts as an internal antistatic agent. Compatible with polyolefins and styrenics. It is based on renewable fatty acids with advantages in terms of volatiles, color and odor. It is added to equalize and reduce static charges on polymers surfaces preventing undesired or hazardous effects caused by dust attraction, spark discharge, ink misting. When used with Hostastat® FE 1, it shows a well-balanced performance in terms of time to get the antistatic effect and durability of the effect. For applications requiring immediate antistatic effects, it can be used in combination with Hostastat® FE 2. Hostastat® FA 24 has a shelf life of 2 years.
