OMNISTAB AN 168

Tris(2,4-ditert-butylphenyl) phosphite. Acts as a secondary antioxidant. It is hydrolytically stable and exhibits synergy with primary antioxidants. OMNISTAB AN 168 maintains color properties and provides an excellent resistance to extraction by water, low volatility and high heat stability. It can effectively decompose hydroperoxides produced during the processing of polymeric materials. Has good effect with HALS. OMNISTAB AN 168, usually not used alone, is compounded with hindered phenolic primary antioxidants to improve the mostability of polymer during the processing. There are over ten kinds of blends of OMNISTAB AN 168 with phenolic antioxidants. Used widely in the polymer materials, such as polyolefins (polyethylene, polypropylene), polyamide, polycarbonate, ABS and so on.
