1,1'-thiobis(2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-tert-butylbenzene. Acts as an antioxidant. Has high resistance to thermo- oxidative degradation and washout. It exhibits an excellent compatibility with peroxides and great synergism with carbon black. Used in HDPE and LDPE for tubes, water and gas pipes, connectors, high voltage cables as well as greenhouse films. Can also be used in PVC wires & cables. Recommended to be used at dosage of 0.05-0.30%.
