Dibutyl sebacate (sebacic acid ester of butyl alcohol). Acts as a plasticizer. It is a monomeric ester that is clear liquid in appearance. Offers superior low temperature performances. Provides excellent compatibility in a wide range of plastics, synthetic rubber, cellulose acetate, NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) with 50 %, 30% & 20% ACN (acetonitrile), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), CR (chlorinated rubbers) and NR (natural rubbers). Listed in food contact approval (EU 2002/72/EC directive and subsequent amendments). Complies with REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals).
