VINYZENE™ SB-27 biocide

4, 5- dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one. Is a biocide with PVC carrier resin. It provides long term preservation against fungal and bacterial attack and prevents surface growth, permanent staining, embrittlement and premature product failure. It is compatible with most thermoplastic resins, vinyl, PU, TPO, TPE and will not discolor or detract from the product's chemical or physical properties. Used in roofing membranes/swimming pool liners, bath and kitchen mats, PVC/PU coated fabrics, flooring/wall coverings, gaskets, footwear/shoe soles and wood plastic composites. It is in compliance with directive 98/8/EC (BPD).
