Santoflex™ 44PD

Santoflex™ 44PD by Eastman is a diamine based antioxidant and polymerization inhibitor. It acts as a high activity antiozonant to protect natural and synthetic elastomer compounds, particularly in static applications for compounds containing no wax. It offers improved flex fatigue protection and compound protection against catalytic degradation by copper and other heavy metals. It provides stabilization for a wide range of solution and emulsion polymerized elastomers that can tolerate discoloration. It is used as a sweetening agent for fuels. It is suitable as an inhibitor in styrene monomer, p-methylstyrene, divinylbenzene and acrylate esters production and as a column antifoulant. Santoflex™ 44PD is designed for tires used in aircraft, OTR, mobile homes and agricultural equipment, as well as structural mounts, fixed hoses, gaskets. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
