LOXIOL® VPA 1726

LOXIOL® VPA 1726 by Emery Oleochemicals is a 100% bio-based and vegetable-derived antistatic agent for polyolefin applications. It can be used as an alternative to ethoxylated fatty amines. It minimizes risk of electrical discharge and offers reduced dust accumulation that affects performance and appearance of plastic products. It is designed to be incorporated into the plastics in the master-batching or compounding step. It eliminates buildup of static charge by migrating to the plastics surface after conversion. Residual antistatic agent in the polymer bulk serves as a reservoir in case the material at the surface is removed. Suitable for film extrusion and injection molding applications including random copolymer & homopolymer PP films, LDPE films and both random copolymer & homopolymer PP injection molded plaques. It is less sensitive to storage time and change of humidity compared to ethoxylated fatty amine. It is nitrogen free including both amine and amide. LOXIOL® VPA 1726 complies with REACH, FDA CFR 21 Part 172 and Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 with no specific migration limit. Recommended dosage level is 1-3%.
