Eversorb 12 by Everlight Chemical is 2-Hydroxy-4-n-(octyloxy)benzophenone. Used as a UV absorber in plastics applications. Particularly recommended for polymers like PE, PP, PVC and elastomers. Protects plastics and coatings from UV radiation in sunlight. Shows solubility in a wide range of solvents. Eversorb 12 exhibits compatibility with most polymers and imparts less color to the substrate.
