SUNSORB P is a 2- (2’-hydroxy-5’-methylphenyl) benzotriazole. Acts as an UV light stabilizer. Offers excellent photostability to polymers against UV light exposure by retarding color yellowing, preventing embrittlement, maintaining of mechanical properties etc. Provides high heat resistance without significant degradation or volatility at proper extrusion temperature. Compatible with styrenic polymers, PVC, unsaturated polyesters and polyurethane.
