AEROSIL® 380

AEROSIL® 380 by Evonik is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a very high specific surface area. It exhibits anti-settling and anti-sagging properties. It offers resistance to corrosion and provides rheology & thixotropy control of liquids, binders, and polymers.

It is used in HTV-silicone rubber as well as exhibits very good transparency and dispersion.
It can be processed by liquid injection molding.
AEROSIL® 380 is suitable for cable compounds and unsaturated polyester resins.
Recommended dosage level is 1.2 to 2.0%.
It has a shelf life of 24 months.
