ORTEGOL® 701

ORTEGOL® 701 by Evonik is a processing aid designed for polyurethane applications. It allows compressed mattresses to unfold and recover to their original volume much faster. It helps to improve the production conditions and reduce foam defects. It significantly improves the final quality of compressed flexible foams. It provides improved aging resistance and is optimized for odors and emissions. It also enables flexible foam industry to take advantage of increased “Bed in a Box” demand. ORTEGOL® 701 is combined with Evonik’s DABCO® NE range of emission optimized catalysts and TEGOSTAB® surfactants to reduce curing times before compressing, lower costs and improve compression set during roll tests. It is recommended for automotive seating applications. It passes the latest VDA 278 standard and low-VOC chamber test.
