ORTEGOL® 702

ORTEGOL® 702 by Evonik acts as a processing aid for polyurethane applications. It improves final quality of compressed flexible foams. It helps to improve the production conditions and reduce foam defects. It enables compressed mattresses to unfold and recover to their original volume much faster. It offers improved aging resistance and is optimized for odors and emissions. It also enables flexible foam industry to take advantage of increased “Bed in a Box” demand. In combination with Evonik’s DABCO® NE range of emission optimized catalysts and TEGOSTAB® surfactants, ORTEGOL® 702 lowers cost and improves compression set during roll tests. It allows foams to be compressed much earlier after curing and achieving full recovery after around one day following a long period of compression. It passes the low-VOC chamber test.
