Polycat® 36

Polycat® 36 by Evonik is a highly active tertiary amine-based catalyst. It promotes a balanced urethane/urea reaction in low water hydrocarbon blown rigid polyisocyanurate foams. It is used in a variety of rigid polyurethane foams. Polycat® 36 is suitable as a direct replacement for Polycat® 5 catalyst. In PIR lamination formulations it has shown to be very efficient, providing low foam density while improving the final cure rate. Recommended shelf life is 36 months.
