TEGOMER® H-Si 6440 P

TEGOMER® H-Si 6440 P by Evonik is a polyester modified siloxane based additive. Acts as reactive bulk modifier. It can also be used as internal lubricant and release agent. It improves scratch resistance of engineering resins, TPEs and polyolefins. It offers higher impact and tensile strength, reduction of brittleness and hydrophobizing to improve the bulk properties. It improves processing by better mold fill release behavior, good internal lubrication and improved rheology of polymer melt. The surface properties are improved by enhanced scratch and wear resistance, lower surface frictions, higher surface gloss and better glass fiber wetting/ lower fiber brakes. TEGOMER® H-Si 6440 P is compatible with polyolefins, polyamides polyesters/polycarbonates, thermoplastic elastomers and thermosets. Recommended for SEBS based air bag covers.
