MONOPLEX® DOS

MONOPLEX® DOS by Hallstar is an ester-type plasticizer. It is dioctyl sebacate.

Possesses low volatility, high plasticizing efficiency, excellent resistance to extraction by water, soaps, detergents and excellent flexibility at low temperatures.
It exhibits very low viscosity (about one-third the viscosity of plastisols based on DOP) and excellent viscosity stability.
It is often used in combination with other plasticizers to improve the viscosity characteristics of vinyl plastisols and to improve low temperature properties.
It is used in electrical insulation, electrical jacketing, film and sheeting for use in low temperatures, low viscosity plastisols and strip-coating compounds.
MONOPLEX® DOS is used in polymers such as acrylic rubber, chlorinated rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, EPDM, hydrogenated nitrile, nitrile, polychloroprene and polyvinyl chloride.
