Paraplex® G-50

Paraplex® G-50 by Hallstar is an intermediate molecular weight, polyester adipate based plasticizer. It offers good permanence combined with good process ability in PVC and nitrile compounds.

It is most notably superior to monomeric plasticizers in resistance to extraction by oils and hydrocarbons, freedom from volatility, and resistance to migration into lacquers, rubber and typical baked finishes.
It makes an excellent pigment-grinding medium.
Paraplex® G-50 is used in coated fabrics, electrical tape, refrigerator gasket, shoe liners, upholstery and window channeling.
It is also used in acrylic rubber, cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose acetate propionate, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, epichlorohydrin, nitrile, nitrocellulose, polyacrylate, polyvinyl acetate and polyvinyl chloride.
