PE homoploymer. Acts as a lubricant. It acts as a rheological aid in hot melt adhesives (HMAs), acting as a diluent, to lower viscosity at the application temperature while improving substrate wetting, both leading to improved adhesion. It improves mar & abrasion (rub resistance) by lowering COF(Increasing slip). Can also be partially substituted for FT (Fisher Tropsch) wax in adhesive applications without detracting from formulation properties. It is used as a dispersing agent for color masterbatch applications.
