Micral® 855

Micral® 855 by Huber Engineered Materials is alumina trihydrate. Acts as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant. It has precise particle size distribution, low absorbed water and low soluble soda content. Imparts low viscosities to polymers which result in favorable processing, particularly at high filler loadings. Demonstrates superior mechanical properties. Compatible with polyethylene and ethylene copolymers. Micral® 855 is suitable for use in wire and cable jacketing and insulation and injection molded and extruded polyolefins.
