Aradur® 42

Aradur® 42 by Huntsman is a cycloaliphatic polyamine. Acts as a curing agent. The liquid to semi-solid Araldite® epoxy resins or resin solutions (e.g. Araldite GY 250, GY 260 or GY 280) do not cure fully when processed solely with Aradur® 42 and consequently resulting films are brittle as well as tend to exude. The features of surface technologies depend on the formulation and epoxy resin used. Exhibits good color stability, low viscosity, good resistance to aqueous, neutral & alkaline solutions. Also exhibits very good mechanical properties and optimal cure effects. Aradur® 42 is used in floorings.
