TIMREX® C-THERM™012

TIMREX® C-THERM™012 by Imerys is carbon-based filler. It is available in the form of powder. It has low friction, is chemically inert and shows absence of inherent abrasiveness. It exhibits high thermal conductivity, thermal stability and electrical conductivity. It shows film forming ability on metal surfaces and has relatively inoffensive nature of both powders and products of combustion and has high aspect ratio. Extended graphite has very low bulk density which makes it very difficult to feed into a polymer melt and TIMREX® C-THERM™012 overcomes these feed issues. It improves wear resistance, deformation strength and reduces thermal expansion in PTFE. Suitable for polymer composites such as self-lubricating polymers and thermoplastics.
