JingJiang Concord-CALCIUM STEARATE 6-7% Calcium

Stearic acid of calcium. It acts as a heat stabilizer, softening agent and lubricant for various plastics processing. It shows long-term thermal stability and is non-toxic with no sulfide pollution. It appears as a white powder. It is insoluble in water soluble and is soluble in toluene, ethanol, benzene as well as in other organic solvent. It slowly decomposes when heated to 400°C. It is flammable and de-compounds into stearic acid and the corresponding calcium salt with water. It can be used as a plasticizer, grease thickening agent and textile waterproof agent in the rubber processing. Also used in food packaging, medical apparatus, in requirements of the film with non-toxic soft instruments. In order to eliminate residual catalyst to the color and stability of the adverse effect, polyethylene, polypropylene halogen sorbent can be used.
