Speedblock 328 by Lambson (Sartomer) is 2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-4,6-ditertpentylphenol. Acts as an UV absorber. Ican be used alone or with additives such as hindered light stabilisers and antioxidants. Compatible with styrene homo- and co-polymers, acrylic polymers, unsaturated polyester, polyurethane, polyvinylbutyral, polyvinylchloride, polyolefins, polyacetals and elastomers. Recommended dosage is 0.1-1.0%, depending on the substrate, processing conditions and applications. Speedblock 328 has a shelf life of 2 years.
