Rhenofit® TAC/S

Rhenofit® TAC/S by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a cross-linking activator for peroxide vulcanization. It increases hardness, higher moduli, outstanding resilience and good abrasion resistance. The degree of polymer cross-linking may be considerably increased from what is normally obtained by higher dosages of peroxide. It is suitable for highly loaded light and dark EPDM compounds as well as for CM compounds filled with mineral fillers or carbon black. It is applicable in technical moulded and extruded articles based on EPDM, EPM, CM, profiles, seals, cable coverings and bushings. Recommended dosage level of Rhenofit® TAC/S is 0.4-4 phr, depending on the type peroxide used. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
