Rhenogran® CBS-80

Rhenogran® CBS-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an accelerator for the vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubber. It offers long scorch time, great processing safety and a fast-full cure. It also acts as a sole accelerator for the low-sulfur vulcanization or in combination with di-thiocarbamate or thiuram accelerators. The vulcanizates obtained with this additive, provides good aging resistance and compression set. It contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder. It is applicable in tire treads, technical rubber components like air hoses, conveyor belts and footwear. Rhenogran® CBS-80 has a shelf life of 2 years.
