Uniplex 260 by Rhein Chemie Lanxess Group is a glyceryl tribenzoate. Acts as a plasticizer and processing aid. It promotes heat-sealability and adhesion, and creates a moisture barrier. It is compatible with polymers, including polyester, acrylic resins, polyvinyl acetate, cellophane and nitrocellulose. Its suggested applications are extrusion and injection molding processing aids. Uniplex 260 is used in seals and films.
