Vulkanol® OT

Vulkanol® OT by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an outstanding low temperature plasticizer, which combine flexibility at low temperature with resistance to volatilization at elevated temperature. It is compatible with natural and a wide range of synthetic rubbers. It is particularly useful in those rubbers which alone have poor low temperature flexibility such as nitrile- and chloroprene rubber. It is applicable to a wide range of ambient temperatures such as hydraulic hose, automotive seals and hose. Recommended dosage level for NBR, SBR, NR is 30 phr, for CR is 15 phr and for IIR is 10 phr, based on 100 parts by weight of elastomer. Vulkanol® OT has a shelf life of 2 years.
