Zinkoxyd aktiv®

Zinkoxyd aktiv® by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an effective vulcanization activator for extremely fine particle size suitable for rubber articles based on natural- and synthetic elastomers as well as for latex applications. It also acts as a reinforcing filler and cross-linking agent for metal oxide curable elastomers, like CR and carboxylated polymers. It provides good fatigue resistance in dynamically stressed articles, such as buffers and rollers. It is an activator for sulfur-, thiuram- and in many cases for peroxide cures. It is applicable in low concentrations of zinc oxide tolerated products, e.g. transparent and translucent rubber goods. Zinkoxyd aktiv® has a shelf life of 547 days.
