BLS® 1098

BLS® 1098 by Mayzo is Benzenepropanamide, N,N'-1,6-hexanediylbis[3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxy. Acts as an antioxidant and thermal stabilizer. Provides excellent processing and long-term thermal stability with low initial color, replaces copper-based stabilizer systems for polyamides, exhibits low volatility, resistant to extraction and is FDA cleared. BLS® 1098 is compatible with polyamide (nylon) polymers and fibers, polyacetals, polyester elastomers, polyurethanes, and elastomers. Recommended dosage is 0.1-1% in polyamides, between 0.05% and 0.5% in polyacetals, polyurethanes, elastomers. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
