McLube 1708L

Solvent dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) along with a soluble adhesion promoter. Used as a lubricant. Exhibits a low coefficient of friction, high load carrying ability and good durability. Mixture of lubricants has frictional characteristics that are superior to those of either of the two lubricants used alone. Contains no oil, grease, wax, silicone or graphite. Easy to apply and dries rapidly in air. No curing step required. Offers very good adhesion to substrates. Prevents metal to metal contact. Protects against wear, seizure, galling, scoring. Imparts controlled lubrication for all types of springs. Effective over a wide temperature range. Used in metal connectors to prevent seizing, scoring, galling, welding, bearings and sliding surfaces, particularly where wet lubricants are undesirable.
