MELATEKS 500 by Melamin Kocevje is a partially etherified melamine-formaldehyde resin, crosslinking agent for polymer dispersions. It is used for finishing fabrics made of regenerated cellulose, cotton, cellulose- and synthetic fibers. It improves durability, thermal stability and wash resistance of finishes.

It can be used as a binder in the production of glass fleece with superior strength and temperature resistance.
It provides optimal compatibility with other types of synthetic resins, softening agents, fillers and penetrating agents.
It is condensed at elevated temperatures in the presence of acid catalysts.
The shelf life of MELATEKS 500 is 6 months.
