Dioctyl Phthalate (MONSOL DOP)

Phthalic acid. Acts as a plasticizer. It is a colorless and a high boiling point liquid. Has excellent dispersion properties, high plasticising, low volatility, good insulation and low migration. MONSOL DOP is highly stable to light and is soluble in most solvents. Possesses a good compatibility with cellulose nitrate. Used for PVC.
