LUBMER™ LS4140

LUBMER™ LS4140 is an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) by Mitsui Chemicals. Designed for lightweight gears and bearings. It functions as a tribology modifier of engineering plastics or a replacement for PTFE. Exhibits high mechanical properties, low friction and high processability. Improves durability due to high abrasion resistance. It can reduce a squeaking sound with a variety of materials. It contributes to increased product efficiency and total cost reduction. LUBMER™ LS4140 is suitable for processing by injection molding, co-extrusion or insert mold.
