Tospearl® 240

Tospearl® 240 by Momentive Performance Materials is a silicone resin. Used as antiblocking agent in plastic films. Offers very good water repellency, lubricity, and heat resistance. Exhibits minimum coagulation and very good dispersibility. Provides improved extrusion output rates and slip characteristics of the film due to lubricity and spherical shape of these resins. Tospearl® 240 improves clarity in the films while requiring lower usage levels than other antiblocks such as silica.
