Silquest™ A-1289 Silane

Silquest™ A-1289 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is bis-triethoxypropylsilyl polysulfide. It is used for silica-filled tires with lower rolling resistance, longer-lasting, heat-resistant belts or hoses, and lightweight shoe soles. It is used as a viscosity modifier and curing agent. Offers improved physical properties and rheology. Possesses reduced energy requirements. Exhibits optimization of scorch time and crosslink density. Silquest™ A-1289 Silane provides better abrasion resistance and wear life when it is used to couple silica or other mineral reinforcements to the rubber.
