Bis-triethoxypropylsilyl polysulfide. Used as viscosity modifier and curing agent. Offers improved physical properties and rheology. Possesses reduced energy requirements. Exhibits optimization of scorch time and crosslink density. Provides better abrasion resistance and wear life when this tetrasulfide silane is used to couple silica or other mineral reinforcements to the rubber. Can be used for silica-filled tires with lower rolling-resistance, longer-lasting, heat-resistant belts or hoses, and lightweight shoe soles.
