Chopped strand 930

High performance, multi-resin compatible reinforcement used for injection molding industrial pump housings, electrical switches, small kitchen appliance housings, automotive headlamp mounting panels, windshield wiper parts, distributor caps and rotors, and governor covers. Used in extrusion compounding with thermoplastic resins. Strand configuration and sizing composition provide excellent mechanical properties and outstanding resistance to color change. Processing advantages resulting from high strand integrity, low fines and outstanding dry flow are obtained without sacrificing fiber dispersion or strength. The multiple resin compatibility of 930 reduces the need to inventory a number of different chopped strands for PBT, polycarbonate and styrenic resin systems.
