Performax® SE4849 Type 30® Roving

It is produced using boron-free Advantex® glass fiber which combines the electrical and mechanical properties of traditional E glass with the corrosion resistance and durability of E-CR glass. It is specially designed for long fiber reinforced thermoplastic polypropylene (LFT-PP) which offers weight reduction and cost savings. It also features an optimized formulation for adhesion to polypropylene, which enables it to meet stringent mechanical performance requirements. Exhibits fuzz resistance, durability, outstanding wet-out and dispersion. Suitable for hot-melt compounding and direct long-fibre thermoplastic (DLFT) process. Also suitable for pultrusion processes to manufacture unidirectional continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRT) tapes. Enables faster compounding line speeds for improved cost efficiency and increased glass loadings, hence useful for Tier 1 and OEMs. Well-suited for consumer goods applications, such as appliances and power tools. Applications in automotive industry include front-end modules, seat carriers and door modules.
