XIBOND™ 860 by aurorium is an ethylene-octene copolymer grafted with styrene, methyl methacrylate and glycidyl methacrylate random copolymer. Acts as a coupling agent, compatibilizer, adhesion promoter and impact modifier. As a coupling agent, it provides low viscosity, improved creep and tensile properties. Compatibilizers optimize the interfacial tension and morphology against high stresses. It is designed to improve the blend morphology of specific polymer blends. XIBOND™ 860 can be processed using extrusion in all types of regular polymer processing equipment. It is compatible with elastomeric polyolefins and thermoplastic polyester resins. Recommended dosage level is 1-20 %.
