SMC 5509

Roving for sheet molding compound designed to contribute class "A" surface in polyester automotive applications. Offers good laminate mechanical properties, moderate SMC sheet loft. Provides very rapid wet through and complete wet-out, very good chopability and fiber distribution. Contributes to good melt-flow characteristics. Used for polyester automotive applications which include horizontal and vertical body panels, lift gates, spoilers, and grill opening panels where smooth surface is important.
