SMC 5545

Roving for sheet molding compound, designed to contribute to Class ”A” surface in polyester automotive applications. Contributes to the mechanical properties of most structural applications and to superior mold flow characteristics. Provides very rapid wet through and complete wet-out, and low SMC sheet loft. Offers very good chopability and fiber distribution and high laminate mechanical properties. Used for polyester automotive applications which include personal water craft, truck body panels, and grill opening panels.
