Solution of methyl ethyl ketone peroxides in plasticizers. Enhance the hardening process of unsaturated polyester resins together with various accelerating systems, generally on a cobalt salt base (octoate, naphthenate). Vanadium or manganese salts are rarely used. The action of the accelarators can be modified by adding promoters that complex the metallic salts and enhance their action. Has a medium-range crosslinking activity that must be used exclusively in spray-application technologies in production cycles for manufacturing products at room temperature. Its composition is characterized by a low hydrogen peroxide and water content. For this reason, it avoids porosity forming in the films of the gel coat.
