It acts as an endothermic (heat absorbing) chemical nucleating and foaming agent. It is commonly used in injection molding for the elimination of sink marks, reduction of part warpage, and for weight reduction and faster cycle time. Designed for use with moisture-sensitive engineering resins for long-term durability. Recommended for PC-ABS, PPS, NYLON, PPE/PPO and PBT. It complies with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) 21 C.F.R. Part 110.
