Addocat® 9558

Addocat®9558 is bis-(2-dimethylaminoethyl)-ether. Acts as a catalyst for the production of polyurethane flexible slab-stock foam and hot-molded foam. It improves the flowability of the system. It is used to promote the gas reaction in the production of polyether slabstock foam and hot-molded foam (dosage 0.1 - 0.15 p.b.w. on 100 p.b.w. polyol). Here it is always used in combination with Addocat®SO (0.1 - 0.3 p.b.w.). Applications include continuous production of foam panels and slabstock, discontinuous heat/cold insulation of piping and refrigerators. It has a shelf life of 6 months.
