Addocat® DMEA

Addocat®DMEA is dimethylethanol amine. Acts as a catalyst for the production of polyether based polyurethane foams, e.g. flexible slabstock foam, rigid foam. In rigid foams, Addocat®DMEA is suitable as a co-catalyst for all systems except those used for spray foams. The dosage is 1.0 - 3.0 p.b.w. For the production of polyether slabstock foam, Addocat®DMEA is used as a co-catalyst in combination with more powerful tertiary amines, such as Addocat®9727 P, Addocat ®104 or Addocat®108 the dosage being 0.2 - 0.4 p.b.w. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
