Antilux® 654

Antilux® 654 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an anti-check wax or anti-ozonant to protect rubber articles against ozone and weathering influences. It migrates to the surface of the vulcanizates, due to its reduced solubility and forms there a complete protective film which remains stable at temperatures up to -10-50°C. It shows excellent stability against dynamic stress in protective film. It is designed for tires and technical rubber articles (conveyor belts, cable coverings), technical molded and extruded articles (profiles) used at higher service temperatures. Recommended dosage level of Antilux® 654 in tires 1-4phr and other rubber article is 10 phr depending on the type of compound. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
