Baymod® PU-A

Baymod® PU-A is aliphatic polyester urethane. Acts as a plasticizer. When mixed with PVC, it is oil, grease and solvent resistant, non-volatile, resistant to- abrasion and tear propagation, migration, extraction by most organic solvents, low-temperature, bitumen and is low-fogging. Compatible with PVC and POM. Applications include oil and petrol resistant hose, computer cables, abrasion and migration resistant cable sheathing, special profiles for the automotive and building industries, conveyor belts for the food industry, profiles and gaskets with low-temperature flexibility, special profiles for contact with other plastics when extruded. Boots for the oil and fishing industries, work shoes and abrasion resistant soles, bellows, molded parts for automotive industry when injection molded. Floor coverings, oil and petrol resistant films, dry-cleaning resistant film for the clothing industry and low-fogging film for the automotive industry in calendaring. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
