Rhenocure® DOTG/C by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a primary or secondary accelerator for the vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubber. It also functions as a sensitizer for latices. It shows very slow scorch and relatively long cure times. It exhibits vulcanizates with excellent mechanical values and can obtained good aging and reversion resistance. It possesses synergistic effect when used as a secondary accelerator in combination with mercapto, thiuram and di-thiocarbamate accelerators, enhancing the degree of cross-linking and cure times. It is designed for IIR, EPDM, technical- and thick-section rubber articles such as roller coverings. Rhenocure® DOTG/C has a shelf life of 2 years.
