Rhenocure® TIBTD

Rhenocure® TIBTD by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an ultra-accelerator of natural- and synthetic rubber vulcanization. It also functions as curing agent for vulcanization without free sulfur or low-sulfur. It is used as a primary accelerator in the presence of sulfur and as a secondary accelerator with thiazoles and sulfenamide. It produces reversion persistent vulcanizates with good aging characteristics. It offers fast adsorption and excellent dispersion. Basic accelerators such as aldehyde amine, guanidine, xanthogenate, or zinc dithiophosphates have an additional activating effect. It is suitable for heat as well as reversion resistant rubber goods in EV and semi-EV cross-linking systems, profiles, hoses, molded articles, solid rubber, cable sheathing and insulation. Recommended dosage rate is 0.1-4 phr depending on application. Rhenocure® TIBTD has a shelf life of 2 years.
