Rhenofit® DDA

Rhenofit® DDA by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an antioxidant natural- and synthetic rubbers. It prevents damage by oxygen and heat in NR, IR, BR, SBR and CR. It is suitable for applications at higher temperatures. It is effective against dynamic crack formation caused by oxygen. It meets the requirements for goods which come into contact with foodstuff, provided that the amount does not exceed 1.4% calculated on the finished goods. It finds application in heat resistance goods, bicycle tires, inner tubes, sponge rubber and shoe soles. Recommended dosage level as antioxidant and for protection against rubber poisons is 1-2 phr and as anti-flex cracking agent is 1.5-3.5 phr. Rhenofit® DDA has a shelf life of 1 year.
